If you’re new to shopping at Kroger, here's their coupon policy in a nutshell per Deal Seeking Mom's website. I have also put in extra bits of info that apply to the Jonesboro Kroger location.
Coupon Policy
Kroger accepts the following types of coupons:
§ Manufacturer coupons (Cents Off)
§ Free merchandise and buy one get one free coupons
§ Store coupons
§ Pharmacy (Advertising and Promotional) coupons
§ Internet coupons
§ Electronic coupons
The following are guidelines and limits:
§ Limit one manufacturer coupon per item purchased.
§ Limit one store coupon per item purchased.
§ One manufacturer coupon and one store coupon can be used on the same item.
§ Coupons cannot be used on free items. In other words, if it's a BOGO sale, and you have 2 $1/1 coupons, you can't use both of them.
§ Kroger does not accept expired coupons.
§ The store manager has the right to decline any coupon upon viewing it.
§ The store manager also has the right to limit the number of coupons used in one transaction. Here is the coupon limit info for Jonesboro
§ Manufacturer coupons that will double - 8 like coupons PER TRANSACTION will double.
§ Manufacturer coupons that will not double - unlimited number per transaction, unless limited by management.
§ Internet printed coupons - There is no longer a limit of one like IP per transaction.
§ Kroger accepts electronic coupons which are loaded to your Kroger Plus card. Electronic coupons are available through Cellfire and Shortcuts.
§ Kroger doubles manufacturer coupons up to and including $0.60 in value UNLESS the coupon states on it "Do Not Double or Triple".
§ Kroger Store coupons and electronic coupons on your Plus Card will not double.
When you're going to use e-coupons, make sure to download all the ones you want to use to your Kroger card at least an hour before you leave to go shopping so that they're available for you to use. It's easy and can save you lots of money. Just visit the Kroger website, Cellfire, Shortcuts & Upromise.
E-coupon Note:
Kroger does not allow the stacking of e-coupons and paper coupons. If you do not want to use the e-coupon (because you have a higher value paper coupon) I suggest taking the e-coupon off of your card (which is not possible with Cellfire coupons) or giving your Kroger card last. If you give your Kroger card last then your paper coupons will come off and not your e-coupons. Remember e-coupons do not double!
